About the Yoga Teacher Deanna McLaughlin

Deanna has stud­ied guided med­i­ta­tion, relax­ation, guided imagery, Chi– gong, Hatha yoga and the Tao Yin form of yoga since 1987 . She has devel­oped an inte­gra­tion of these forms into a soft flow­ing yet chal­leng­ing style that is accom­mo­dat­ing and assess­able for every type of body. She received Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion from Spirit Wind School in 1996 and later with the Tao Yin Insti­tute in 2008. Deanna has sought out those teach­ers who are most expe­ri­enced to fur­ther her unquench­able desire to learn more about the heal­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties yoga has for the body and mind. She has been can­cer free for 21 years and plans to be teach­ing yoga when she is 104.

Yoga Group Classes

Classes con­cen­trate on reliev­ing stress, improv­ing cir­cu­la­tion, and joint rota­tion. Poses can be adapted for par­tic­i­pants with sports injuries or spe­cial con­di­tions. The instruc­tor observes clients to check and cor­rect pos­tures and to offer alternatives.

Yoga Work­shops

Nur­ture your own and your staff’s over­all sense of well­be­ing with stress man­age­ment tech­niques, includ­ing a blend of breath­ing exer­cises and stretches for eye fatigue and for the neck, shoul­ders, back and total body.

Also, inte­gra­tive art & yoga con­flict resolu­tion pro­gram for young ado­les­cents and adults.
