About the Yoga Teacher Deanna McLaughlin

Deanna has studied guided meditation, relaxation, guided imagery, Chi– gong, Hatha yoga and the Tao Yin form of yoga since 1987 . She has developed an integration of these forms into a soft flowing yet challenging style that is accommodating and assessable for every type of body. She received Certification from Spirit Wind School in 1996 and later with the Tao Yin Institute in 2008. Deanna has sought out those teachers who are most experienced to further her unquenchable desire to learn more about the heal­ing opportunities yoga has for the body and mind. She has been cancer free for 21 years and plans to be teaching yoga when she is 104.

Yoga Group Classes

Classes con­cen­trate on reliev­ing stress, improv­ing cir­cu­la­tion, and joint rota­tion. Poses can be adapted for par­tic­i­pants with sports injuries or spe­cial con­di­tions. The instruc­tor observes clients to check and cor­rect pos­tures and to offer alternatives.
